Uzbekistan ranked first in the world in terms of venture investment growth rates according to preliminary data from the Dealroom.co report for the second quarter and first half of 2026.

According to the published information, the volume of venture funding in the country increased by 539.7% compared to the same period last year. This is the highest indicator among all states included in the ranking.

Kenya took second place with a venture investment growth of 325.7%, and Austria took third place with an increase of 307.7%.

Such a sharp increase indicates the accelerated development of Uzbekistan's startup ecosystem and increased interest from foreign funds in technological projects in the country. The development of the IT sector and support for young companies through specialized programs play a special role in this process.

The full version of the Dealroom.co report for the first half of 2026 will be published on July 29. It is expected to provide more detailed data on investment areas, major deals, and the state of startup markets in various countries.
