IT Park Uzbekistan and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Dubai discussed expanding cooperation in technology, innovation, and international business. The main topics of negotiations were attracting foreign IT companies, developing investments, and creating new business ties between Uzbekistan and Hong Kong.
The meeting was attended by representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Export Development Director Jahongir Kagirov, and a delegation from the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Dubai, led by Director-General Simon Chan.
The Uzbek side presented the capabilities of the national IT ecosystem, the residency program, tax incentives, and support tools for foreign companies. Services for recruiting specialists, business analytics, digital solutions, and company support when entering the Uzbekistan market were also presented.
Hong Kong representatives spoke about the region's advantages as one of the world's largest financial and trade centers, which can become a platform for the international development of technology companies.
The parties paid special attention to the possibility of opening development centers for international IT companies in Uzbekistan. Hong Kong representatives expressed interest in further developing cooperation and joint projects.
IT Park Uzbekistan also invited Hong Kong partners to participate in the ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026 forum, which will take place in September. The parties agreed to continue working on attracting technology companies and strengthening ties between the two innovative ecosystems.
