Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan and Enterprise Uzbekistan held a series of meetings in Hong Kong with key financial and technological structures, studying the model of one of the world's largest business centers. The main topic of negotiations was the mechanisms that allowed Hong Kong to combine a developed financial system, innovation, and international investments.

At the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), the Uzbek delegation familiarized themselves with the principles of the financial center's operations, including the development of digital payments, cross-border settlements, central bank digital currency, asset tokenization, and financial control technologies.

Special attention was paid to the role of the state in creating infrastructure. In Hong Kong, authorities establish transparent rules and a regulatory environment, while the development of technology companies is largely ensured by private investors, banks, venture funds, and innovation platforms.

Meetings with the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau (FSTB) discussed the model of interaction between state institutions, where different organizations maintain independence but operate within a unified economic strategy.

The acquired experience is planned to be used in the development of Enterprise Uzbekistan – the country's international technological jurisdiction. Key areas include improving legislation, protecting intellectual property, digital company registration, and creating a convenient environment for business.

IT Park Uzbekistan, in turn, intends to use Hong Kong's experience to attract foreign IT companies, support startups, train specialists, and expand the export of digital services.
