Uzbekistan discussed the launch of a major project for processing hazardous industrial waste. Aziz Abdukhakimov, Advisor to the President on Environmental Issues and Chairman of the National Committee on Climate Change, held negotiations with the management of Vision Invest, during which the parties considered opportunities to accelerate the implementation of the initiative.

The main focus was on introducing modern technologies for the safe collection, transportation, neutralization, and processing of hazardous waste. The meeting participants discussed technical solutions, financial issues, and organizational stages necessary for the practical launch of the project.

It is expected that the new system will help reduce the negative impact of industrial waste on the environment and public health, and will also create a more effective environmental infrastructure in Uzbekistan. The parties agreed to continue preparing documents, exchanging information, and coordinating further actions for the project's implementation.
