JSC "Uzbekneftegaz" is intensifying efforts to increase natural gas production by accelerating drilling, commissioning new wells, performing major repairs, and preventing accidents. A working meeting led by Chairman of the Board Abdugani Sanginov reviewed the status of drilling operations, compressor stations, power supply, and production infrastructure.

From August 1 to 24, the company analyzed the condition of 11 wells. Drilling was completed on eight facilities, seven of which have already been commissioned. This created the potential for an additional production of up to 1.7 million cubic meters of gas per day. However, one well did not yield commercial flow, and the commissioning of another was postponed until early September.

Major repairs were considered separately. Of the eight wells planned for commissioning by August 24, all yielded commercial gas flow. Additional production amounted to 310 thousand cubic meters against the planned 235 thousand cubic meters.

By the end of August, "Uzbekneftegaz" intends to commission another 11 wells and obtain an additional 340 thousand cubic meters of gas. The management also demanded synchronization of well commissioning with the readiness of pipelines, equipment, compressor stations, and power supply.

Special attention was paid to accidents. In the Gazli and Shurtan departments, they were practically not recorded, but in other units, accidents led to a decrease in the production of gas, condensate, and liquefied gas. The management was instructed to accelerate preventive work and complete repairs before the onset of cold weather.
