A meeting was held at the Customs Committee of Uzbekistan with representatives of WEBB FONTAINE from the UAE. The main topic was the introduction of modern digital technologies in customs administration and the development of international technological cooperation.

Special attention was paid to artificial intelligence. The parties considered solutions capable of processing large volumes of information, forming risk indicators, identifying possible violations, and assisting customs authorities in decision-making.

Risk management, customs valuation and classification of goods, control of transit operations, and the development of the "Single Window" system were also discussed.

Representatives of the Customs Committee spoke about the existing information systems and technological needs of the department. WEBB FONTAINE presented its own platforms for modernizing customs administration and simplifying trade, and also described the architecture of the solutions and the possibility of their integration with national information systems.

Separately, the participants considered tools for analyzing comparable prices and identifying undervaluation of customs value. In addition, the improvement of goods classification according to the HS code, as well as the development of post-control and customs audit, were discussed.
