Construction continues in Kyrgyzstan on one of the key facilities of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway line – a bridge over the Kech-Alat River in the Suzak district of Jalal-Abad region. Its length will be 956.67 meters, the height of the highest support will be 96 meters, and the total height of the structure will reach 122 meters. The bridge will be the highest structure on the entire new railway line.

Builders have already fully completed the foundation work. The construction of supports and abutments is about 54% complete. The large-scale project is designed to ensure the railway line passes through the complex mountainous terrain of Kyrgyzstan and become one of the most prominent engineering structures of the future route.

For Uzbekistan, the project is of particular importance: the new railway will create a direct transport link with China through the territory of Kyrgyzstan. The highway is expected to open an additional route for cargo transportation, reduce logistical dependence on existing routes, and strengthen Uzbekistan's trade ties with China and other countries in the region.
