Uzbekistan plans to gradually transition the supply of liquefied gas to the population to market principles. A pilot project is intended to be launched in Andijan region, where, in addition to "Hududgazta'minot", at least two private entrepreneurs will be able to sell fuel. The authorities expect that competition will improve service and help solve the problem of supply disruptions.

Special points may be created for selling gas directly in mahallas, while technical requirements for them will be revised. Consumers will be offered a mobile application through which they can order the required volume of fuel and choose a convenient delivery time. Private operators will also be allowed to use cylinders of different volumes, whereas currently "Hududgazta'minot" uses 20-kilogram containers. A separate problem is residents and entrepreneurs who lack gas beyond the established norm and have to illegally refill cylinders at automotive gas filling stations.

The supply to the population will be handled by a separate enterprise, LPG-Trade, which will be created within the structure of "Hududgazta'minot". Currently, about 3.8 million consumers and almost 2 thousand social facilities receive liquefied gas, and 604.8 thousand tons of fuel are planned for 2026. At the same time, 22% of consumers wait for deliveries for more than 46 days, which forces some families to buy gas at market prices at automotive gas filling stations, overpaying several times.
