The Tashkent Metro has set a new daily record for passenger traffic. On September 14, 1,165,550 people used the subway. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent Metro.

The previous maximum was set on May 8, 2026, when the metro carried 1,117,061 passengers in one day. Thus, the new result exceeded the previous record by 48,489 people.

The new maximum is another indicator of the increasing load on the capital's subway. For the first time, the mark of 1 million passengers per day was significantly exceeded even before the current record was set, and now the daily passenger traffic has approached 1.2 million people.
