Uzbekistan's Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, discussed with Inha University President, Ki Young Choi, the further development of cooperation between the Uzbek and South Korean campuses. Following the meeting, Inha University in Tashkent and Inha University in South Korea signed a new five-year Royalty Agreement.

The document provides for the updating of curricula, the expansion of student and faculty exchange, and the launch of joint master's and research projects. Special attention was paid to the Fergana campus, for which educational and research initiatives in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, engineering, and space technologies are planned.

In addition, the parties intend to develop PhD programs and research internships, conduct Summer Schools, and enhance the scientific and educational potential of the Fergana campus. The Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan stated that the agreements should expand international cooperation in education and research and increase opportunities for training IT specialists.
