On September 22, ICTWEEK Uzbekistan 2026 kicked off in Tashkent — an international technology week that will run until September 25 at the Central Asian Expo Uzbekistan venue. The event brought together IT companies, investors, startups, government agencies, and representatives of the global technology industry. This year, organizers expect over 25 thousand visitors from more than 70 countries, including about 2 thousand foreign guests. More than 200 organizations are participating in the exhibition, and the business program features over 200 speakers and experts.
The exhibition features national pavilions from the USA, China, Japan, Georgia, Oman, Turkey, Tajikistan, and other countries. Key topics include artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, venture financing, digital service exports, startup development, and attracting international companies. A separate Startup & Venture Summit will connect developers with investors, funds, accelerators, and corporations. In parallel, the Uzbek–Japan Digital Community Forum will be held: in two years, the number of Japanese companies — IT Park residents — has grown from two to 25.

On the second day, participants will discuss Uzbekistan's transformation into a new technological jurisdiction, the development of IT outsourcing, BPO, and global service centers. The industry's scale is growing rapidly: in the first half of 2026 alone, 608 export-oriented companies became IT Park residents — 178% more than a year earlier. They now supply IT services and digital products to 102 countries.
