On September 23, the Future Intelligence Forum 2026 took place in Tashkent as part of ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026. The central theme of the event was the transition from traditional digitalization to the use of artificial intelligence as a tool for economic development, public administration, and digital services.

The forum gathered representatives of government agencies, international and regional organizations, technology companies, businesses, the financial sector, the scientific community, and the professional AI community. The organizers were Huawei and the Center for the Development of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy, in cooperation with the IT Education Association and with the support of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan.

Participants noted a shift in the technological agenda. While in the previous stage, key tasks were the creation of digital infrastructure and the transfer of processes to electronic format, now data processing, computing resources, and AI tools are gaining increasing importance.

The concept of the Future Intelligence Forum 2026 is built around this transition — from forming digital infrastructure to creating intelligent services and increasing economic efficiency through artificial intelligence technologies.
