Representatives of the Digital Development Department of the Tashkent city administration discussed cooperation with the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) and its resident companies on September 25. The negotiations took place within the framework of ICT WEEK Uzbekistan 2026. Participants considered the application of AI and digital technologies, as well as the possibility of adapting the Smart City concept to Tashkent's infrastructure.

eSIX presented solutions for secure and continuous communication, combining 4G and 5G networks, fiber optic and satellite channels. These technologies are designed for transport infrastructure, video surveillance systems, utility facilities, and other urban services.

Cogniser demonstrated AI systems for managing urban processes, ensuring security, education, and industrial monitoring. In turn, Showmac presented intelligent devices and educational solutions combining artificial intelligence, ICT, and telecommunication technologies.

The parties also discussed the integration of these solutions into Tashkent's transport and urban infrastructure, security systems, education, and digital governance. In the first stage, the most promising technologies are planned to be tested in pilot mode, after which the possibility of their larger-scale implementation will be considered.
