The National Youth Nuclear Dialogue will be held in Uzbekistan on October 8 as part of the international Impact Team 2050 program. From September 1 to October 30, similar meetings will be organized in 15 countries with the participation of schoolchildren, students, young scientists, and aspiring specialists. The main topics will be access to knowledge and practical training, career prospects, and public trust in nuclear technologies.
Following the meetings, participants will prepare proposals for a roadmap to increase the attractiveness of the nuclear industry and related professions. The first events of the program in September took place in Kazakhstan, Indonesia, and Egypt. In Jakarta, 60 schoolchildren, students, and young scientists from 10 educational institutions discussed the use of nuclear technologies in agriculture, research, and innovation.

In Cairo, 53 medical students and intern doctors participated in the dialogue. According to a preliminary survey of 108 participants, 60% cited a lack of information as the main obstacle to choosing a specialization in nuclear medicine, 37% — a lack of practical training, and 36% — unclear career prospects. The final international roadmap is planned to be presented at a meeting with the Director General of Rosatom during COP31, which will be held on November 9–20, 2026, in Antalya.
