Cameras have been installed on Fergana Highway in Tashkent to monitor traffic on dedicated bus lanes 'A'. The system covers a 6 km section in both directions. According to the Center for Road Traffic Organization (CRTO), similar equipment is gradually appearing on other streets of the capital to ensure public transport priority.
The installation of cameras is part of the city's transport infrastructure development program, which includes the construction of new sections of the BRT rapid bus system and the expansion of the network of dedicated lanes. The movement of vehicles not having the appropriate right on 'A' lanes is prohibited daily from 06:00 to 23:00. These sections are intended for the uninterrupted movement of buses and adherence to schedules.

The CRTO emphasizes that one bus can carry more than 50 passengers simultaneously, so unauthorized vehicles entering the dedicated lane can delay a large number of people. Drivers are urged to pay attention to road signs and markings, not to occupy bus lanes during prohibited hours, and to consider the interests of public transport passengers.
