The construction timeline for the large nuclear power plant has not yet been specified. In late April, Rosatom's CEO Alexey Likhachev stated that the company expects to pour concrete for the foundation of the small nuclear power plant in about a year.

Initially, the project, signed in the spring of 2024, involved the construction of six reactors with a capacity of 55 MW each. The start of work was planned for the summer of 2025, and commissioning was scheduled for the period from 2029 to 2033.
