A unique program has been launched in Uzbekistan that combines digitalization, support for low-income families, and greening of the country.
Through the "Ekofaol fukaro" platform, participants record the planting of trees on state forest fund lands and their maintenance, receiving payments for compliance with agro-technical obligations.
Each family receives funds for every 100 seedlings planted, and a transparent digital system ensures data verification and quality control. The first part of the subsidy is transferred after confirmation of information, the rest is paid upon survival of the trees, which motivates citizens to protect green spaces.
Experts note that the use of technology increases the efficiency of landscaping in regions with harsh climates. Control through a digital platform helps to retain moisture in the soil, prevent erosion and reduce the effects of dust storms, contributing to the protection of the environment and sustainable development of the country.
