In January–November 2025, the average tariff increased by 9.8%. In November, the figure increased by 0.5% compared to October, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The increase in tariffs became the reason for the intervention of the Committee on Competition, which in mid-November began studying the reasons for the increase. Official requests have been sent to operators demanding an explanation of the validity of the changes.
The regulator focuses on the companies' expenses for improving the quality of communication and expanding the coverage area. These factors may affect the formation of tariffs, but it is also important to exclude unfair practices.
If signs of anti-competitive behavior are identified, including a coordinated increase in prices, it is planned to conduct an audit and take measures in accordance with the law.
