Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Makhkamov met with Chief Operating Officer of Sojitz Corporation Masakuzi Hashimoto.
The possibilities of attracting Japanese experience and financial institutions to promising transport projects of the country, as well as joint programs for training qualified personnel for the industry, were discussed.
Following the negotiations, further steps were agreed to develop cooperation, including the modernization and expansion of Uzbekistan's aviation infrastructure, which should improve the efficiency and safety of the transport system.
