Almalyk State Technical Institute and the Chinese company CONCH Cement have signed a strategic partnership agreement. The document provides for joint work in the production, educational, and research spheres, exchange of experience, and the implementation of projects in the field of mining electromechanics. Special attention is given to the introduction of innovative technologies into the educational process with the participation of Chinese specialists.
The parties agreed to train and retrain personnel for CONCH Cement's structural divisions on the basis of the institute. Plans include advanced training for employees, the conduct of research and experimental design work, internships abroad for students and teachers, as well as the training of specialists in fields of study promising for the company.
The implementation of the initiatives corresponds to the strategic objective of creating within the institute an advanced engineering school of world-class level in the fields of geology, metallurgy, and engineering sciences. CONCH Cement brings together hundreds of enterprises around the world, produces cement and construction materials in volumes of hundreds of millions of tons, and supplies its products to more than 20 countries.
