In Uzbekistan, more than 2,000 users of the Humans mobile application lost about 7 billion soums. The incident occurred in early December 2025, when Humans and the Paylov payment service publicly accused each other of involvement in the theft.
On January 7, the Central Bank completed an inspection of the Octogram JSC payment organization, which served Humans through the Paylov brand. Following the audit, the materials were sent to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for legal assessment and action. Affected citizens are encouraged to contact law enforcement agencies.
According to the press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Shokhrukh Giyasov, a criminal case has been opened under the article on theft on a particularly large scale. The Investigation Department is conducting initial investigative actions, and there are no official comments from Humans and Paylov on the progress of the investigation yet.
