Islom Abdurakhmonov has been appointed Chairman of the Board of "Uzbekhydroenergo" for a term of three years. Abdurakhmonov has specialized education in the field of electric power, power supply and economics. He studied at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, Tashkent State Technical University and Tashkent State University of Economics. He began his career as an engineer and foreman at the Talimarjan TPP, then worked at the Tashkent City Electric Networks Enterprise and Uzenergoinspection, and since 2018 he headed To'palang HPD Holding.
