Due to the sharp cold snap, the operation of methane gas stations has been temporarily restricted. The Ministry of Energy reports that the energy system is operating in an enhanced mode 24 hours a day, and all malfunctions in the regions are being eliminated as quickly as possible.
The demand for natural gas has increased sharply, the pressure in the pipelines has decreased, therefore, temporary restrictions have been introduced on the operation of automobile gas filling compressor stations. These measures are aimed at ensuring a stable gas supply to the population during cold days.
The department clarified that the restrictions will be gradually lifted as the situation stabilizes, and additional information on the operation of gas stations will be provided depending on the state of the energy system in the regions.
