French company POMA proposed the construction of cableways in Namangan Region

The projects are aimed at developing tourism and providing convenient transport in mountainous areas

The French company POMA S.A.S. has proposed building cableways in the tourist and mountainous zones of Namangan Region. POMA specializes in the design, installation, and maintenance of cable transport systems and operates in more than 90 countries, having installed over 8,000 such facilities worldwide.

Namangan Region Hokim Shavkatzhon Abdurazzokov met with POMA Central Asia manager Anton Chudaev. The talks covered modern cableways compliant with international standards, including a project for a tourist complex around Lake Arashan in Pop District, as well as the development of tourist villages in Pop and Yangikurgan districts.

The company has prepared detailed projects for the specified areas. Cooperation with a global leader in the field of cable transport systems is viewed as a step toward increasing the region's tourist appeal and developing its infrastructure.
