16 modern buses have been delivered to Urgench as part of the program to modernize public transport in the Khorezm region. The delivery is carried out in accordance with the tasks enshrined in the Decree of the President of Uzbekistan No. PP-59 of February 16, 2023, aimed at improving the quality of transportation.
Opel-Trans LLC purchased 16 buses of the Chinese brand ASIASTAR. The equipment is manufactured in the People's Republic of China and will be used on intracity routes in Urgench under a gross contract.
The update also affects suburban traffic. In the Koshkupyr district, Zargar Voha Trans LLC purchased 12 JAC Sunray minibuses, and Asil Javohir Bek LLC purchased five of the same cars in the Khankin district.
It is expected that the introduction of new equipment will improve the comfort, safety and regularity of passenger transportation in the region.
