A joint production of MAZ trucks will be organized in Uzbekistan. The plans were announced by the press service of the enterprise.
The agreement on the establishment of an assembly plant was signed between OJSC "MAZ" - the management company of the holding "BELAVTOMAZ" - and UzBelMotors. The document was executed during the official visit of the Belarusian government delegation to Uzbekistan led by Alexander Turchin.
The agreement was signed by the heads of the companies Valery Ivankovich and Sherzod Talipov, noting the strategic importance of the project for industrial cooperation between the two countries.
The agreements were reached following the fifth meeting of the Uzbek-Belarusian Business Council.
