The Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan, together with the World Bank, has launched a project to optimize and digitalize internal business processes. The initiative aims to improve the efficiency of the ministry, accelerate decision-making and introduce modern management standards.
The project includes a series of working meetings and consultations with all relevant departments of the ministry. As part of the work, a comprehensive analysis of existing processes, their functional load, as well as a study of the regulatory framework and the practice of applying existing procedures will be carried out. Special attention will be paid to identifying redundant administrative steps, duplicate functions and inefficient use of time.
Experts from the consulting company PwC are involved in the project, who conduct a detailed audit of the activities of a number of departments, including departments for analyzing economic growth, coordinating monetary and fiscal policy, urbanization, housing construction and land reform. It is expected that the implementation of the project will simplify procedures, strengthen digital transformation and increase the transparency of the ministry's work.
