In Uzbekistan, attention to the development of electric transport and the expansion of the network of charging stations is growing. Representatives of public organizations, entrepreneurs, and relevant departments are involved in the organization, maintenance, and support of infrastructure for electric vehicles and hybrid cars.
Recent analysis has revealed isolated failures in the operation of stations: reports of temporary outages and restrictions on the operation of some charging points have appeared on social networks. These situations have caused public discontent.
In response, the Deputy Chairman of the Senate Committee, Kobuljon Tursunov, sent a request to the Minister of Energy, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov. The senator asks to explain the reasons for the outages, to talk about supporting the functioning of the stations, and to present plans for the development of electric transport infrastructure, as well as measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
