Uzbekneftegaz held negotiations with the American company Upwing Energy on the introduction of modern technologies to improve gas production efficiency. The meeting took place between the head of the Uzbek company, Abdugani Saginov, and the head of Upwing Energy, Herman Artinian.
The key topic was increasing production at low-efficiency wells through innovative solutions. Previously, the parties had already exchanged ideas during an online session, where American specialists presented technologies to improve the performance of such facilities. After that, the Uzbek side conducted an analysis of geological and technical data to assess the potential for implementation.
The current meeting discussed the results of the research and outlined further steps. Both companies confirmed their interest in developing cooperation, which is aimed at modernizing existing infrastructure, increasing production and optimizing processes in the gas industry without the need for large-scale expansion of fields.
