Uzbekistan has lifted restrictions on the operation of automobile gas filling compressor stations since March 17. According to the Ministry of Energy, most CNG filling stations across the country are resuming operations from 10:00 AM without a fixed closing time, switching to a more flexible schedule.
Previously, restrictions were introduced to regulate the load on the gas transportation system, but the current situation has made it possible to ease control. Now drivers will be able to refuel with methane without the previous time limits, which should reduce queues and simplify the use of gas motor fuel.
An exception has been made for the regions of the Fergana Valley, where the operating mode of the stations will remain the same. There, the schedule will still be agreed with local authorities and depend on the gas pressure in the system.
