Automatic E-score system for drivers to be launched in Uzbekistan from April 1

Upon accumulating 12 E-scores, the driver loses the right to drive a vehicle

Starting April 1, a new system of automatic accrual of penalty E-scores will come into effect in Uzbekistan. Traffic violations recorded by cameras at intersections, speed control radars, and other systems will be automatically recorded in an electronic database.

For each violation, a driver may be awarded up to two points. Upon accumulating 12 E-scores, the driver loses the right to drive a vehicle for at least six months, and when eight points are reached, the system will send a warning via SMS. Points are reset after one year if the limit is not exceeded.

You can check the number of points accrued through the my.gov.uz portal, the MyGov mobile application, as well as the Road24, Safe Road, Click, and Payme services. The innovation is designed to improve road safety and motivate drivers to comply with the rules.
