Uzbekistan Airways and Air India have signed a code-sharing agreement that expands opportunities for passengers and strengthens air links between Uzbekistan and India. Joint tickets for the Tashkent – Delhi, Tashkent – Mumbai routes and a seasonal flight to Goa are already available from March 12, 2026.
The new partnership makes it possible to combine the route networks of carriers and offers convenient transfers through key Indian airports. Passengers will be able to issue a single ticket for the entire route, which simplifies travel planning and makes flights more accessible.
The companies note that the agreement opens a new stage of cooperation and strengthens ties between the regions. Air India emphasized that Tashkent is becoming an increasingly popular destination for tourism, business and cultural exchange, and the partnership expands the geography of flights and improves the transport accessibility of Central Asia.
