Huawei bets on AI: Tashkent showcases what the digital economy of the future will look like

Digital Week 2026 brought together operators, government agencies, and businesses around next-generation networks and intelligent infrastructure

Huawei Digital Week 2026 is taking place in Tashkent from April 20 to 24, where the company is demonstrating solutions in telecommunications, digitalization of public administration, and key economic sectors. The main theme of the event is Advancing All Intelligence, with a focus on creating infrastructure capable of supporting the mass adoption of artificial intelligence and high computational loads.

Special attention is paid to networks with an AI-centric architecture, where artificial intelligence is embedded at all levels – from services to equipment. Such solutions, according to the company, allow operators to increase efficiency, improve communication quality, and generate new revenue streams by adapting networks to the new digital reality. More than 400 representatives from the telecom and public sectors, as well as media, are participating in the event.

Projects for education, medicine, transport, and the banking sector are presented separately, along with digitalization cases from various countries. Huawei also develops educational programs in Uzbekistan, including the ICT Academy in 20 universities and courses on AI and cloud technologies. The company has been operating in the country for over 26 years and has been coordinating regional operations in Central Asia and the Caucasus since 2026.
