A new batch of public transport has arrived in Bukhara – 24 modern buses, which will become part of the city's infrastructure modernization program. The delivery was carried out by Progress mega trans as part of the fleet renewal.
The new buses are planned to be used in the updated route network, which will operate under a gross-contract system. This approach involves centralized management of transportation and payment for operators' work according to established quality of service standards.
The authorities expect that the transport update will increase comfort for passengers, reduce road congestion, and positively impact the environmental situation. The project is part of comprehensive measures to create a more efficient and sustainable public transport system in the city.
