Within the framework of the Uzbek-Hong Kong Economic Forum, negotiations were held between the "Uzeltehsanoat" Association and the Chinese company Gotion. The parties discussed accelerating joint projects in the field of "green energy" and energy storage technologies.

The Chinese company is one of the world's largest manufacturers of batteries and energy storage systems, and Uzbekistan views such technologies as a key element in the development of renewable energy. During the negotiations, it was noted that global demand for energy storage solutions continues to grow, and China maintains a leading position in this segment.

The main focus of the meeting was on moving already initiated initiatives into a practical phase. Special attention was paid to accelerating projects for the production and implementation of energy storage systems in Uzbekistan, as well as expanding industrial and technological cooperation.

The parties stated that the goal of the partnership is to develop a local production base, introduce modern technologies, and create new jobs. Following the negotiations, the intention to accelerate the implementation of joint projects in the country's energy sector was confirmed.
