Uzbekistan and Tajikistan conducted joint technical measures to improve the quality of mobile communication in border regions. The work was organized by the relevant agencies of the two countries with the participation of radio frequency control specialists.

Experts checked the operation of mobile networks in a number of border cities and monitored the radio frequency spectrum, including in the 2300 MHz band. The main task was to identify sources of mutual interference that could reduce signal quality in adjacent territories.

Following the inspection, the parties coordinated network operating parameters and reduced the level of radio interference. This is expected to improve the quality of mobile communication in the cities of Tursunzade, Shahrinav, and Hisor, as well as increase the stability of telecommunication services in the border areas of both countries.
