Chinese company JinkoSolar has signed an agreement to supply 1 GW of Tiger Neo 3.0 photovoltaic modules to the republic. Deliveries will be made through a local distributor and are intended for solar generation projects – from industrial facilities to large power plants.
According to the company, Uzbekistan has already become one of the key markets for its products in the region. The new modules will be used in distributed generation for business and industry, as well as in large-scale energy projects. The decision aligns with the country's strategy to reduce dependence on traditional energy sources and expand the share of "green" generation.
Tiger Neo 3.0 solar panels boast high efficiency and are designed to operate in challenging climatic conditions – with hot summers, temperature fluctuations, and dust storms. Amidst the growth of the renewable energy sector, Uzbekistan continues to attract major international investors: in 2025 alone, electricity production from renewable sources in the country significantly increased, and their share approached one-fifth of all generation.
