Yandex Lavka opens up opportunities for people with hearing impairments in Uzbekistan

New vacancies in dark stores and adaptation of processes for deaf and hard-of-hearing employees

Yandex in Uzbekistan is expanding inclusive employment programs and launching new job opportunities for people with hearing impairments. Now, deaf and hard-of-hearing employees can join the Yandex Lavka service, working in dark stores as warehouse workers.

The company has adapted key processes — from recruitment and training to daily interaction within teams. New employees will be responsible for assembling and packing orders, receiving and placing goods, controlling warehouse stock, and maintaining order at storage facilities.

The project is being implemented in cooperation with the Tashkent association "Sharoit Plus", which assists in candidate selection, training, and employee support during the adaptation phase. Sign language interpreters and special instructions for dark store teams are also provided to ensure comfortable and effective work in mixed teams.
