As part of the 2026 Autoparts Exhibition and Biz-Meeting in Tashkent, a delegation of South Korean auto component manufacturers visited the Localization Support Center at Uzavtosanoat.
During the visit, foreign companies were introduced to existing programs for developing local production and opportunities for industrial cooperation in Uzbekistan's automotive sector.
Guests were shown samples of auto components and raw materials produced in the country, and informed about the production potential of local enterprises. Special attention was paid to the prospects of attracting investments and expanding cooperation between Uzbek and South Korean manufacturers.
The delegation included representatives of companies operating in various segments of the automotive industry, including the production of engine components, braking systems, filters, steering mechanisms, and suspension elements.
Among the participants were Autotop, Boram Auto, Carstation, D Only Automotive, Eslink, Hansae Mobility Turan, June Heung Filter, Korea Oil Seal, and other manufacturers.
Such meetings are considered a step towards increasing the level of localization and developing new joint projects in Uzbekistan's automotive industry.
