The Global Human Rights Governance Forum 2026 was held in Beijing, where modern approaches to human rights protection and the realization of the right to development were discussed. Representatives from over 100 states, international organizations, and the expert community, including delegates from Uzbekistan, participated in the event.
At the forum, Dilnoza Muratova, Deputy Director of the National Human Rights Center of Uzbekistan, presented the country's national experience. Her speech highlighted key areas of reform, including human capital development, expanding access to education, improving social protection, and increasing the well-being of the population.
It was separately emphasized that within the framework of the "Uzbekistan – 2030" strategy, investments in people and education are considered the foundation of sustainable development. The country's delegation also invited forum participants to take part in the Fifth Samarkand Human Rights Forum, scheduled for September this year.
