Within the framework of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks with the leadership of the US Exim Bank and the Development Finance Corporation (DFC). The meeting was dedicated to expanding cooperation and attracting financing for strategic projects in the country.
On the American side, representatives of the Export–Import Bank of the United States and the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation participated in the discussions. The parties considered the institutions' participation in energy modernization, infrastructure development, critical resource exploration, as well as the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies and digital transformation of the economy.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to accelerate joint projects, including energy, healthcare, and transport infrastructure. Plans were also discussed for creating an investment platform and preparing a roadmap that should outline practical steps for project implementation, including the construction of new facilities and the development of digital services.
