In the "Yangi Avlod" special industrial zone in Tashkent, a ceremony was held to launch the Robotis company's project for the production of humanoid robots and their components. The initiative is being implemented with the support of the O‘zeltexsanoat association and is aimed at developing high-tech industry in Uzbekistan.

The project involves investments of about 70–100 million dollars and the creation of more than 2 thousand jobs. A modern production complex will be built on an area of 10 hectares, which will produce robotic systems with artificial intelligence elements and its own engineering base.

It is noted that the launch of the project was the result of agreements previously reached with South Korean partners. The authorities of Uzbekistan consider the initiative an important step towards forming a new industrial direction, developing engineering personnel, and expanding cooperation with the Republic of Korea, where about 1000 enterprises with a total investment of over 8 billion dollars are already operating.
