Negotiations on new investment projects involving Uzbekistan took place in Jinhua, China. A delegation from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan visited Pujiang County, where they held meetings with representatives of the local administration, businesses, and large companies.
During talks with County Mayor Liu Qi, the parties discussed the development of interregional cooperation and the expansion of economic ties. The Chinese side noted the high level of Uzbek-Chinese relations and expressed readiness to support joint projects in promising areas.
Representatives of Uzbekistan invited Liu Qi to visit the country to further strengthen business contacts. In response, the Pujiang authorities expressed their readiness to organize a visit by a business delegation involving leaders of local enterprises.
Within the framework of the "Uzbekistan – China" business forum, representatives of government agencies, educational organizations, and over 60 Chinese companies familiarized themselves with Uzbekistan's investment potential, business conditions, and ongoing economic reforms.
The meeting participants discussed promising areas of cooperation and agreed to conduct new business missions of Chinese entrepreneurs to the regions of Uzbekistan.
Separate negotiations were held with Zhejiang Juyitang Garment Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Pujiang Bohu Chain Co., Ltd. The parties considered the possibility of establishing production facilities in Uzbekistan for textile products and protective chains for automobile tires.
