Uzbekistan and Slovenia have agreed to intensify work on joint investment projects. This was announced following meetings between Uzbekistan's Ambassador Oybek Shahavdinov and representatives of leading Slovenian companies and organizations in Ljubljana. The parties discussed expanding trade, economic, investment, and technological ties.

The main focus was on promising projects in pharmaceuticals, energy, transport, digital technologies, mechanical engineering, waste processing, aviation, education, and consulting. Representatives of Slovenian businesses expressed their readiness to establish joint ventures in Uzbekistan, develop local production, and invest in new projects.

Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to continue promoting joint initiatives. In the near future, it is planned to organize visits of Slovenian companies to Uzbekistan, hold negotiations with relevant government agencies, and select local partners for the implementation of investment projects.
