The Uzbek-Chinese Business Forum was held in Tashkent, where representatives of the two countries discussed expanding investment cooperation and launching new joint projects. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, as well as a delegation from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China.

The forum brought together 22 Chinese companies operating in metallurgy, energy, logistics, biotechnology, automotive, food industry, and other areas. Participants considered opportunities for implementing projects in the mining industry, "green" energy, agriculture, medicine, high technologies, and industrial cooperation.

The parties noted the rapid growth of economic ties between the countries. Over the past five years, trade between Uzbekistan and China has tripled, reaching nearly $18 billion by the end of 2025. The volume of direct Chinese investments during this period increased fivefold to $17 billion. Currently, more than 6,000 enterprises with Chinese capital operate in Uzbekistan. Following the forum, the companies agreed to continue preparing new investment initiatives and developing joint ventures.
