In Seoul, Uzbekistan and South Korea agreed to expand cooperation in the field of digital medicine. Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, met with Park Sang-Hwe, President of the Seoul Public Health Association, and industry experts.

The main topic of negotiations was the digitalization of medical facility management. The parties discussed the possibility of applying Korean Smart Hospital standards in the design and equipping of hospitals, as well as modern methods of clinical management and their adaptation to the conditions of Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed. The document is intended to become the basis for joint projects and systematic cooperation in the field of digital transformation of medicine, clinic management, and the implementation of modern technologies.

The Seoul Public Health Association is a non-profit organization uniting over 100 academic and industry experts. Uzbekistan expects to use Korean experience to accelerate the modernization of its national healthcare system.
