Uzbekistan and South Korea discussed the implementation of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in rice cultivation. The negotiations took place at the Rice Research Institute under the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan. The parties also agreed to expand scientific cooperation and exchange experience.

One of the key ideas was the creation of a digital platform that will allow remote monitoring of rice fields and early identification of potential problems. With the help of AI, it is planned to analyze crops, optimize agricultural work, and forecast yields.

The integration of scientific research results and rice cultivation data into a single digital database is also being considered. This should help accelerate the implementation of new developments and modern agricultural technologies directly into agriculture.

Special attention was paid to the creation of new rice varieties, the development of cultivation technologies, and the training of specialists. Scientists from both countries intend to expand knowledge exchange and jointly implement scientific projects related to the digitalization of the industry.
