In the Fergana region, the creation of a new international airline in cooperation with Afghanistan's Kam Air was discussed. The negotiations were conducted by the regional khokim Khayrullo Bozorov with a delegation led by the airline's head, Omar Mohammad Sulaiman. Timur Khalilov, a representative of Uzbekistan Airports, also participated in the meeting.

The initiative is a continuation of agreements reached during the Fergana region delegation's visit to Afghanistan at the end of July. This time, the parties focused on practical issues: the necessary infrastructure, service organization, and the conditions that will need to be met to launch the new carrier.

Separately, the participants emphasized the need to attract specialized professionals and organizations, as well as the project's compliance with international aviation standards. Following the meeting, the parties outlined further steps and promising areas of cooperation. If the project moves from discussion to implementation, Fergana could gain a new international aviation hub and additional routes.
