Since September 7, the Tashkent Metro has reduced intervals between trains during morning peak hours. The decision is related to the start of the new academic year at universities and the expected increase in the number of passengers. Additional trains are intended to help cope with the increased load and ensure more regular service on the busiest routes.

At the same time, metro management has organized duty shifts at all stations during peak hours. They will monitor the situation, promptly regulate passenger flow, and ensure safety. Special attention is paid to the stations "Chilanzar", "Pakhtakor", "Amir Temur Khiyoboni", "Alisher Navoi", and "Beruni", where the highest passenger traffic is predicted.

The metro notes that the enhanced measures are aimed at maintaining comfortable and safe conditions for passengers during periods of increased load. Traffic and passenger flow regulation will continue during peak hours until the capital's transport system adapts to the increased number of passengers.
