As of January 1, 2026, there were an average of 124 refrigerators and freezers per 100 households in Uzbekistan. Such data is provided by the National Statistics Committee based on household sample surveys. Thus, the number of appliances exceeded the number of families: on average, there is more than one refrigerator or freezer per household.

Over the past 25 years, the indicator has grown by 44.2%. In 2000, there were 86 units of appliances per 100 households, in 2005 – 91, and in 2010 – 99. In 2015, the indicator first exceeded 100 and reached 101 refrigerators or freezers per 100 households. By 2020, it increased to 107 units.

Growth continued in recent years: in 2021, the indicator was 114 units, in 2022 – 115, in 2023 – 118, and in 2024 – already 121. By the end of 2025, the value reached 124 units per 100 households. The statistics demonstrate a steady increase in the availability of refrigeration equipment for Uzbek families over the past decades.
